Tonight, if you’re in the Bay Area, there’s a party in honor of J.D. Lasica’s new book Darknet: Hollywood’s War Against the Digital Generation and a general get-together for the whole “citizen’s media”/independent-journalists-who-use-blogs etc. thing. It’s at the Varnish Gallery Friday evening, 6-9 p.m. Address: 77 Natoma street between 1st and 2nd St. and Mission and Howard.
