		<description>Yes! Licorice rewards - what a great idea. I swore I wouldn&#039;t eat candy this year (maybe the only New Year&#039;s resolution I&#039;ve gotten this far in keeping) but maybe I can find something similar for now. Although licorice sounds so. good. I&#039;ll probably have to go with sliced fruit or something rather unenticing like that. Then I&#039;ll blame it on that when I don&#039;t meet word count.</description>

There is an interesting Scientific American article about how the executive function in the brain (the decision maker) tires out from mental exertion, and hence makes poorer decisions:

It&#039;s not in this article, don&#039;t know where I saw it, but apparently car salesmen bombard you with simple choices before hitting you with the big decision because even the little decisions wear out the executive function and lead you to make worse big decisions.</description>
