When my dear mother was alive, she had a special little hit list. It was populated with people like Henry Kissinger, Robert McNamara, former Secretary Of The Interior, James Watt. It also had Jean Kirkpatrick (what's the big deal over her? I wondered) on it. If her name ever came up my mother's sweet face would contort into a face that looked very much like Kirkpatrick's own. My mother just simply hated her!
